Enrollment is limited to ensure a focused and supportive learning experience.

WHAT STUDENTS WILL EXPERIENCE

The Actor Track provides students with hands-on training for acting in film, emphasizing on-camera techniques through performance, scene practice, and collaboration with filmmaking students.

Saturday, August 1st - FINAL SCREENING at the Randolph Playhouse Movie Theater.

A TYPICAL DAY AT VTFMA

Monday–Friday
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM:

Acting instruction, improvisation, character work, audition technique, rehearsal, and on-camera performance training
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Lunch
1:00 PM – 4:30 PM:

Scene work, blocking, collaboration

with filmmakers, filming support, and showcase preparation

MEET THE INSTRUCTOR

Bob is a producer, director, and writer with over 35 years of experience in film and television. His films have screened internationally and have been distributed on Netflix and Amazon Prime. A former directing instructor at the New York Film Academy, Bob brings decades of professional experience to the Vermont Filmmaker Academy.

TUITION:  $1,000
