WHAT STUDENTS WILL EXPERIENCE
The Actor Track provides students with hands-on training for acting in film, emphasizing on-camera techniques through performance, scene practice, and collaboration with filmmaking students.
Saturday, August 1st - FINAL SCREENING at the Randolph Playhouse Movie Theater.

A TYPICAL DAY AT VTFMA
Monday–Friday
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM:
Acting instruction, improvisation, character work, audition technique, rehearsal, and on-camera performance training
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Lunch
1:00 PM – 4:00 PM:
Scene work, blocking, collaboration
with filmmakers, filming support, and showcase preparation
MEET YOUR INSTRUCTORS

BOB COOK - Acting
Bob Cook brings over 35 years of experience working with actors as a director, mentor, and educator. A former directing instructor at the New York Film Academy, he has guided performers through on-camera technique, scene work, and emotional storytelling, helping actors deliver authentic, compelling performances on screen.

KIERSTEN WHITE - Acting
Kiersten brings a strong background in acting and performance training, with experience guiding students through character development, scene work, and on-camera technique. As an acting instructor, she focuses on building confidence, authenticity, and emotional connection, helping performers bring truthful, compelling characters to life on screen.
